DNA Testing Options
There are multiple DNA Testing options; you should select the options that suit your needs. Below is a list of basic options; please visit the links on the left for more information.
Court Admissible Legal vs. Non-legal
There are two options for every type of family identification DNA Test:
Court Admissible Legal Test, which can be used as evidence in a court of law in order to enforce legal action. This test must be administered by an authorized third party using strict chain of custody documentation.
Non-legal, Non-Court Admissible, Do It Yourself, At Home Test which is a less expensive option and provides results that can be used for your knowledge ONLY, not in a court of law.
Types of DNA Tests DNA Identifiers Offers
Standard or Trio Paternity Test, which includes the Mother, possible Father and Child or Children. Although the Mother's DNA is not absolutely necessary in order to create absolute results, it is helpful when determining the genetic makeup of the child since the child's DNA is made up of 50% both parent's.
Possible Father and Child Only Paternity Test, which includes just the possible father and child or children.
Maternity Test, which includes Mother and Child or Children only
Siblingship Test: Multiple types of DNA tests are available to verify the identity of possible siblings, among them is a Twin Zygosity Test which is performed in order to verify or dismiss siblings as identical twins.
Grandparent Test, which identifies the probability of relationship between a child or children and their maternal or paternal (mother or father's) parents.
Other Family Relations, which includes Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. This test determines the probability of relationship.
Immigration, which determines family relations in order to gain entry into the United States.
DNA Banking, which allows individuals to safely keep genetic information stored in case of emergency.
